The Graduate Mechanical Engineer will assist project teams in designing and adapting mechanical plans for diverse projects under licensed engineer supervision.
Your Role
Key responsibilities include:
Assisting in mechanical design from conceptual phase through design completion.
Modifying and reviewing production drawings for projects including power plants, process, industrial, healthcare, airports, educational, commercial, governmental, and military facilities.
Designing mechanical components per project managers' requirements.
Applying basic mechanical engineering/design concepts, principles, practices, codes, and procedures.
Researching and compiling project-related data as required.
Correcting and updating drawings using multiple CAD software under senior engineers' guidance.
Supporting client presentations, shop drawing reviews, and contract administration.
Performing field inspections, measurements, or calculations for public and private clients.
Complying with all policies and standards and performing other duties as assigned.
About You
The company is looking for:
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field from an accredited program.
Prior internship and/or related consulting experience preferred.
Basic knowledge of standard mechanical engineering techniques, principles, and procedures.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite.
Basic skills in AutoCAD, BIM (Revit), 3D rendering programs, hydraulic analysis, and HVAC analysis programs.
Strong attention to detail, facilitation, team building, collaboration, organization, and problem-solving skills.
Demonstrated leadership skills.
