Responsibilities
• Prepare and serve high-quality coffee and tea beverages according to established recipes and standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the coffee bar, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations.
• Engage with customers, taking orders accurately and providing recommendations based on their preferences.
• Handle cash transactions and operate the till efficiently, ensuring accuracy in all sales.
• Assist in food preparation, including pastries and light snacks, while adhering to hygiene standards.
• Monitor inventory levels of coffee beans, milk, and other supplies, reporting shortages as necessary.
• Maintain equipment by performing routine cleaning and basic maintenance tasks.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.
Skills
• Proven experience as a Barista or in a similar role is highly desirable.
• Latte Art
• Strong understanding of food safety practices and regulations.
• Excellent serving skills with a focus on customer satisfaction.
• Basic food preparation skills to assist in creating menu items.
• Proficient in basic maths for handling transactions accurately.
