Project Manager & Business Analyst

18-Month FTC | FTSE 250 Organisation (Confidential)

Hybrid – Midlands-based with UK Site Travel

Community Partners is partnering with a FTSE 250 organisation operating in a highly regulated infrastructure environment to support a major Information Management System (IMS) transformation programme.

This is a high-profile, enterprise-wide initiative impacting circa 10,000 users, delivering critical improvements across safety, quality, inspections, procurement and site operations.

We are seeking experienced Project Managers (x2) and a Business Analyst to play a central role in this transformation, working within a newly formed programme team.

The Programme (High-Level Overview)

The organisation is investing significantly in the redevelopment of a long-established Site Information Management System, originally developed over the past decade and now requiring modernisation to support future operational needs.

The programme will be delivered in two phases through to late 2027.

Phase 1 – Stabilisation
• Improving performance, reliability and data integrity
• Reducing latency and data loss
• Delivering tangible “quick wins” across core modules

Phase 2 – Redevelopment & Transformation
• Redesigning and rebuilding approximately 20 interdependent modules
• Covering areas such as:
• Safety, Health & Environment (SHE)
• Quality, inspections, snagging
• Procurement and contract information
• Site records and administration
• Large-scale business process redesign and technical transformation

The programme is Agile-led, incorporating:
• Definition of Ready / Definition of Complete
• User stories and sprint planning
• Iterative development cycles
• Cutover and transition planning

The Role

This role combines hands-on project delivery with strong business analysis capability, acting as a bridge between operational users, technical delivery teams, and third-party partners.

Key responsibilities include:
• Delivering workstreams within a complex, multi-module IMS programme
• Engaging stakeholders across decentralised operational teams and senior leadership
• Leading workshops to capture requirements, processes, and pain points
• Producing clear, unambiguous documentation and user stories
• Managing dependencies across core and peripheral modules
• Supporting governance, risk management, and delivery assurance
• Working closely with long-standing technology partners to ensure outcomes meet business and regulatory needs
• Supporting change, engagement, and adoption across a diverse user base

About You

This role will suit a confident, adaptable practitioner who thrives in dynamic, evolving programmes.

You will bring:
• Experience delivering system implementations or transformations in highly regulated environments
• Background in sectors such as construction, engineering, utilities, energy, manufacturing, or production
• Strong understanding of both Agile and Waterfall delivery approaches
• Excellent communication skills – able to engage shop-floor users and senior stakeholders alike
• A pragmatic, flexible mindset – comfortable with changing priorities and iterative delivery
• The ability to articulate complex requirements clearly and diplomatically
• Experience working across decentralised organisations with multiple voices and perspectives
• Industry familiarity (particularly construction, safety, quality, or site-based operations) is a strong advantage.

Location & Working Pattern
• Midlands-based role
• Candidates from Manchester, Leicester, Worcester and Central Midlands ideally considered
• Hybrid working: 2 days per week on-site, 3 days remote
• Travel to UK sites as required (e.g. Scotland, England, Wales, South West)

Package & Contract
• 18-month Fixed-Term Contract
• Salary circa £60,000
• Additional £4–5k car allowance
• Bonus and full benefits package

Interview Process
• First stage interviews: 4th & 5th February (virtual)
• Second stage interviews: 9th, 12th or 13th February (Nr. Coventry / Birmingham, in person)
