Role Responsibilities Retail/Trade Sales Assistant
• Providing exceptional customer service and experiences, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction through your enthusiasm, excellent sales service and product knowledge.
• Confidently engaging with customers and team members.
• Driving sales performance through our training.
• Understanding customer's needs and giving advice and inspiration for customers requirements.
• Building relationships with both trade and DIY customers.
• Generating new trade leads.
• Working as part of a team to maintain showroom stock levels and store appearance.
• Resolving customer queries in a professional manner.
• You will need to have a smart appearance as this is a customer facing role.
• Manual lifting will be involved.
• You must be able to work as part of a team and be flexible to cover store open hours and weekends and bank holidays.
Requirements for theRetail/Trade Sales Assistant
• Previous experience in a retail sales role or environment is preferable but not essential as training will be provided.
• Friendly, helpful and confident with an engaging personality.
• You will be comfortable with dealing with a variety of customer situations in a professional manner.
• Ability to demonstrate energy, drive and a positive can-do attitude.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, written and verbal.
• Able to easily build rapport.
• Able to ensure a complete customer experience.
