Description
The key objectives for this role are:
Leading the design and implementation of electrical systems for offshore platforms to ensure they meet project specifications and operational requirements.
Ensuring that all electrical systems comply with safety regulations and standards to protect personnel and equipment.
Developing and overseeing maintenance programs to ensure the reliability and efficiency of electrical systems.
Managing electrical engineering projects, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
Providing technical expertise and support to engineering teams and operations personnel.
Identifying and mitigating potential risks associated with electrical systems on offshore platforms.
Ensuring that all electrical work meets quality standards and specifications.
Expected:
Bachelor s degree in electrical engineering or equivalent from an accredited university with a minimum of fifteen (15+) years of relevant experience in the Offshore/Onshore Oil & Gas industry, including minimum (5) years (preferred) in GCC region
Must have at least five (5) years of experience in similar position in a mega Oil & Gas or Petrochemical projects. Managing team of Specialists, Senior Engineers and Engineers.
Offshore experience is must, whilst ADNOC experience is desired
PMC experience is required
Fully coherent in all international codes and standards
Excellent command of both spoken and written English is required
Enthusiastic, conscientious and keen to learn / Flexible with a can-do attitude
Working hands on Experience on SPEL
Must have working knowledge and experience of electrical discipline relevant offshore/onshore oil and gas industry codes, specifications and practices
Previous experience of working in the Middle East would be an advantage
