Picker/packer

Our picking, packing team offer a bespoke service to our customers, because of this our packing department is very important part of our business. Attention to detail is key, we aim to get things right first time. You must be able to work under pressure and as part of a team.

You will be packing fish following the correct procedure for each species, and as per each individual customer requirements.

To provide support in the execution of a wide range of duties and activities, providing a team effort in production of customer orders. Operating in a clean and safe manner.

The role is a very physical, requiring you to lift and move boxes and you will be working within cold environments. However in return we offer a chance to join an expanding business with the opportunity for progression for the right employees.

The idea applicant will have experience within a similar role but not essential.

Assist in maintaining clean and safe areas of work

Give support in boxing up items

Assist in van loading

Flexibility in work areas of the factory floor, which include cleaning down procedures and movement of boxes

Be able to listen to instructions and follow them through

To help keep standards of cleaning to a high level and have a good understanding of Health and Safety

Give support in meeting deadlines of production

Be willing to learn and adapt

Full training given

Hours are Monday - Friday 40 hours between 9am - 8pm
