• Assist healthcare professionals by providing essential information on drug interactions and therapies.
• Adhere to all applicable local, state, and federal pharmacy laws and regulations.
• Ensure the accuracy and completeness of electronic health records and prescription details.
• Conduct quality assurance reviews on medication dispensing processes and protocols.
• Communicate effectively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare providers about patient medication therapies.
• Oversee and train pharmacy technicians and support staff to ensure efficient service.
• Manage patient insurance claims and consult on prescription payment issues.
• Implement and monitor pharmacy services to deliver optimal patient care and operational efficiency.
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or a related field required.
• Valid state pharmacist license and good standing with the regulatory board.
• Proven experience as a Pharmacist in a clinical or retail setting.
• Strong understanding of medication administration and the ability to interpret prescriptions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for patient interaction and team collaboration.
• Detail-oriented with exceptional problem-solving abilities for real-time decision making.
