Early Years Practitioner (Level 3)
Location: Bishop’s Stortford
Employment Type: Full‑time
About the Role
Revive Education are recruiting on behalf of a client for an experienced and passionate Level 3 Early Years Practitioner to join a vibrant and nurturing childcare setting in Bishop’s Stortford. The successful candidate will support the delivery of high‑quality early years care and education for children from 3 months to school age, contributing to a safe, stimulating and inclusive environment. The setting places emphasis on a caring, secure and play‑based approach where every child can thrive, grow and reach their full potential.
Key Responsibilities
• Deliver high standards of care and early years education in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
• Plan, deliver and evaluate engaging, developmentally appropriate activities that support individual learning needs.
• Observe and assess children’s development and record progress accurately.
• Promote children’s independence, confidence and social skills through guided play and structured learning opportunities.
• Maintain a safe, healthy and secure environment for all children in your care.
• Build positive partnerships with parents and carers, communicating about children’s daily experiences and development.
• Work collaboratively as part of the wider team to uphold high standards of practice and nursery policies.
Skills & Experience
• Level 3 Early Years qualification (or equivalent).
• Experience working with children in an early years setting.
• Good understanding of child development and the EYFS framework.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• DBS check (or willingness to obtain) and paediatric first aid training preferred.
