Break Through School is an independent day school for children and young people with SEMH, ASD, and ADHD. We need someone who is:•Emotionally intelligent, aware and able to understand the impact of previous educational gaps and traumas, which affect behaviour, engagement and learning•Skilled at building trust and creating calm and structured classroom where students feel safe to learn•Resilient, reflective, and committed to meeting individual needs with creativity and compassionEssential skills and experience:•QTS/PGCE (or willingness to work towards this)•This role requires Maths knowledge from KS1-4•Excellent organisational and communication skills•Experience working with SEND learners, particularly in SEMH contexts•Experience and confidence in de-escalation techniques•Pastoral experienceWhy join us?
