Role: Network Engineer L2 / Lead Network

Employment type: 12 months & extendable contract

Work location: Dubai / Abu Dhabi, UAE

Notice period: 30 days or less

Job responsibilities

Incident management & troubleshooting

Handle escalated network issues from L1 teams and provide timely resolution.

Perform advanced troubleshooting for network devices such as routers, switches, firewalls, and access points.

System monitoring & maintenance

Monitor network performance using tools like SolarWinds, PRTG, or Nagios to identify and resolve potential issues.

Perform routine maintenance tasks, including firmware updates, configuration changes, and patch management.

Configuration and deployment

Assist in the configuration and deployment of network devices, including switches, routers, and firewalls.

Implement VLANs, routing protocols, and access control policies as per design specifications.
