Candidate Profile
The successful candidate will take personal accountability for providing a responsive and effective service and should possess the below qualities:
Your Role & Impact
• Answering telephone calls professionally and courteously
• Processing orders efficiently and accurately
• Managing direct shipments from supplier to customer
• Placing orders with internal/external suppliers and arranging timely deliveries
• Monitoring stock levels in line with customer demand and supplier lead times
• Managing customer expectations and proactively communicating any issues related to their order
• Handling invoice queries and raising credit notes when necessary
Requirements:
Required skills and responsibilities
• Committed to delivering an exceptional level of customer service
• Experience in construction and/or roofing (desirable)
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Previous experience in customer service roles
• Excellent organisational skills and ability to prioritise workload
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
• Strong IT skills, including working knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Ability to work under pressure
• Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Takes ownership of problems and sees them through to resolution
