Customer Service Advisor (Minimum 1 Year Experience Required)
Location: Wakefield | Full-time | Permanent
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Customer Service Advisor to join our busy Wakefield office.
This role is not suitable for entry-level applicants. A minimum of 12 months’ recent customer service or telesales experience is essential.
The Role
Working within a fast-paced office environment, you will be responsible for:
• Making outbound calls to customers from the company database
• Answering inbound calls for both the department & the company.
• Advising customers on suitable products and services aligned to their needs and budget
• Building and maintaining strong customer relationships
• Managing customer interactions professionally and efficiently
• Working towards individual and team performance targets
Pay & Package
We operate a transparent and compliant pay structure:
• Guaranteed National Minimum Wage (paid monthly)
• Uncapped commission and performance-related earnings
• Realistic on-target earnings up to £33,000 per annum for experienced advisors, this is an average of the current team.
• Overtime opportunities available (Saturday mornings 8.30 – 12 )

• Confident, clear, and professional telephone manner
• Patient, but tenacious.
• Strong communication and active listening skills
• Ability to build rapport and handle customer conversations effectively
• Comfortable working with targets and performance measures
• Computer literate
• Proactive, reliable, and able to work under pressure
• Able to use initiative and work as part of a team
