Job Title: Landscape & Swimming Pool Civil EngineerLocation: Dubai, UAEEmployment Type: Full-TimeDepartment: Construction / Execution / Site EngineeringReporting To: Project Manager / Engineering ManagerSalary: AED 5,000 – 10,000 (depending on experience)UAE Driving License: MandatoryJob SummaryThe Landscape & Swimming Pool Civil Engineer will be responsible for the planning, execution, supervision, and quality control of landscaping and swimming pool construction works. The role includes managing structural, hydraulic, and MEP-related activities while ensuring compliance with safety standards, environmental guidelines, and Dubai Municipality regulations.Key Responsibilities1. Design Coordination & Technical ReviewReview and interpret architectural, structural, MEP, and landscape drawings.Coordinate with consultants, architects, and design teams to ensure technical feasibility and smooth integration.Propose value engineering solutions to improve cost efficiency and technical performance.2. Site Supervision & ExecutionSupervise all phases of landscape and swimming pool construction, including excavation, formwork, reinforcement, concreting, waterproofing, and finishes.Manage civil and MEP works related to:Hardscape works (paving, retaining walls, boundary walls)Softscape integrationIrrigation systems and pool plumbingEnsure execution complies with approved shop drawings, specifications, and project schedules.3. Project Planning & CoordinationPrepare and monitor daily and weekly work schedules.Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and multidisciplinary engineering teams.Monitor manpower deployment, material consumption, and site progress.4. Quality & Safety ComplianceConduct inspections and quality checks in coordination with QA/QC teams.Ensure compliance with DEWA, Dubai Municipality, and other relevant authority regulations.Enforce site safety standards and support risk assessments in coordination with HSE teams.5. Documentation & ReportingPrepare method statements, technical reports, material submittals, and RFIs.Maintain site documentation including WIRs, MIRs, and inspection records.Assist with BOQs, cost estimation, and billing verification.Skills & CompetenciesProficiency in AutoCAD, MS Project, and civil engineering software (ETABS, STAAD, Civil 3D).Strong understanding of swimming pool construction standards (BS, ASTM, ACI).Knowledge of landscaping materials, irrigation systems, and waterproofing methods.Strong leadership, coordination, and problem-solving skills.Ability to manage multiple site activities under tight deadlines.Education & ExperienceBachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering (mandatory).3–8 years of experience in landscaping and swimming pool construction projects (GCC experience preferred).UAE Society of Engineers membership and Dubai Municipality approval are an advantage.Preferred Certifications (Advantageous)PMP CertificationOSHA / NEBOSH HSE CertificationDEWA / Dubai Municipality Registration Skills & CompetenciesProficiency in AutoCAD, MS Project, and civil engineering software (ETABS, STAAD, Civil 3D).Strong understanding of swimming pool construction standards (BS, ASTM, ACI).Knowledge of landscaping materials, irrigation systems, and waterproofing methods.Strong leadership, coordination, and problem-solving skills.Ability to manage multiple site activities under tight deadlines.Education & ExperienceBachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering (mandatory).3–8 years of experience in landscaping and swimming pool construction projects (GCC experience preferred).UAE Society of Engineers membership and Dubai Municipality approval are an advantage.Preferred Certifications (Advantageous)PMP CertificationOSHA / NEBOSH HSE CertificationDEWA / Dubai Municipality Registration
