We have an exciting, new opportunity for a full-time Broker Sales Manager to engage our mortgage broker customers and to drive a high-performance culture, managing a small team of Broker Sales Advisors.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced people manager or team leader, ideally from the mortgage lending or intermediaries sector, who has a strong track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.

About the position

As a Broker Sales Manager, you will be responsible for:
• Managing a team of Broker Sales Advisors, creating a motivated, engaged and high-performing team
• Embedding a customer-first mindset within the team, ensuring all interactions deliver fair and positive outcomes.
• Planning and structuring daily, weekly and monthly activity for the team to ensure optimal use of time and resource
• Monitoring activity, conversion and sales performance against targets; identifying trends, risks and opportunities
• Personally handle a proportion of inbound and outbound broker enquiries via telephone and broker live chat, maintaining a strong presence on the phones, leading by example
• Proactively engaging with brokers to build relationships, identify opportunities and drive sales and revenue growth
• Promoting our products and services by understanding broker needs and aligning solutions to their objectives.
• Acting as an escalation point for complex broker queries or relationship issues when required.

· Proven experience in a sales environment, preferably within mortgage lending or intermediaries

· Previous experience leading teams

· Strong track record of working to and exceeding sales targets

· Experience using CRM systems and MI to manage performance

· Ability to lead, motivate and inspire a sales team

· Proven ability to plan, prioritise and organise workloads effectively

· Strong sales and commercial acumen

· Excellent communication, coaching and influencing skills
