Description

Area Sales Manager / Sales Engineer / Business Development Manager required to join a UK leading supplier of Material Handling products and systems.

The successful Area Sales Manager / Sales Engineer / Business Development Manager will work fully remote, responsible for new business development and key account management, selling engineered material handling products and systems, covering UK wide, with Midlands focus.

The Area Sales Manager / Sales Engineer / Business Development Manager will ideally have experience selling mechanical or electrical products or solutions, into end user channels. Full product training provided, making this role suitable for candidates from a wide range of transferable engineering backgrounds - Conveyors, Motors, gearboxes, vacuum, compressed air, filtration, power transmission, pumps, valves, hydraulics, pneumatics, automation, MRO, rotating equipment or similar.

Area Sales Manager / Sales Engineer / Business Development Manager Role

Selling engineered material handling products and systems, covering UK wide, with Midlands focus.

Manage and grow existing relationships as well as new business development selling engineered products and solutions into various industries such as aerospace, automotive, food & bev, packaging, plastics and more.

Identify and develop new material handling sales opportunities through demonstration, exhibition, and negotiation.

Liaise with various engineering departments

Fully remote role covering the UK with a Midlands focus.

Area Sales Manager / Sales Engineer / Business Development Manager Requirements

Experience as a Key Account Manager, Account Manager, Area Sales Manager, Sales Engineer, Business Development Manager, Technical Sales Engineer, Sales Representative or similar having sold a technical mechanical product.

Experience selling engineered products or solutions into end user environments. Full product training provided.

Background in transferable engineering products such as conveyors, motors, gearboxes, power transmission, pumps, compressors, valves, hydraulics, pneumatics, automation, MRO, rotating equipment or similar.

A technical qualification (Apprenticeship, HNC, HND or Degree) is advantageous though not a necessity.

Full clean driving licence. Willingness to travel across the UK
